TRADE SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

• Each exhibitor will have a six-foot, draped tabletop and a sign with the company name. Booths may not be shared and will be assigned the day of the event based on a first come-first served basis.
• The name of your company will be included in the Mexicana Power Point presentation.
• Live music during the show will create an ambiance of a Mexican fiesta.
• Prize drawing will take place during the Trade Show with contributions from several of the exhibitors.
• Mexicana will provide a CD with the database of all the travel agents who attend.
• Mexicana will provide exhibitors with a list of top producers of the New York area selling Mexico.

TRANSPORTATION FROM MEXICO TO NEW YORK

• Mexicana has a limited number of tickets available for participants traveling from Mexico to attend the New York Trade Show.
• All reservations will be allocated on a first come-fist served basis to those participants who have made their payment.
• One ticket for travel from Mexico will be provided per organization.
• Once ticket is issued, no changes are permitted.
• Once payment is received, you will be instructed on how to make your reservation.
• Ticket will be made available two weeks prior to travel at the Mexicana Ticket Office nearest you.

TRANSPORTATION FROM JFK AIRPORT TO HOTEL

Mexicana is located in Terminal 4 at the John F. Kennedy Airport. Follow are the different options to get to Manhattan:

 

• Take the shuttle A "Airtrain" to Jamaica Station, departs from Terminal 4 ($5.00USD one way). In Jamaica take the LONG ISLAND RAIL ROAD to the city (Penn Station), between 7th Avenue and 34th Street, ($2.50USD one way), journey time 90 to 120 minutes. You might take a taxi or subway to your hotel.
• New York Airport Express bus has services every 15-30 minutes to the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 8th Avenue and 42nd Street (West side) and the Grand Central Terminal at Park Avenue and 41st Street (East side). Services operate between 6:15am and 11:10pm ($18.00USD one way), journey time 60 minutes.
• Taxis to the city will cost approximately 40.00/45.00USD one way, journey time 45 minutes.

• We suggest material be shipped via Federal Express, UPS or DHL as these shippers provide confirmation of delivery and name of individual accepting your shipment.
• Mexicana assumes no liability for shipments.
• Shipments must be receiving at the Hotel no more than 5 days and no less than 2 days prior August 16th, 2007.

 

 

PRIZE DRAWINGS

• Drawing will be during the Trade Show.
• If it meets with your company's policy and you wish to participate in this portion of the show, please complete the prize information part of the registration form. Due to the logistic and coordination of the Event we will not accept any prize information on the day of the Event.
• On the day of the Trade Show, a Mexicana representative will ask you to provide an original prize letter to be given to the lucky winner, a bona fide travel agent.
• Travel agents must be present to win.

 

 

SHOW TIME & AGENDA

The room will be available for set-up 90 minutes prior to show time. All boxes that have been shipped previously will be in the show area. The show will start promptly.
